![]() Tomato hornworm | ![]() Tomato hornworm that has been infected by a Braconid wasp. The wasp injects its eggs into the caterpillar's body. When the larvae hatch they emerge from the body & spin the silk cocoons you see attached to the caterpillar. This parasitic process isn't good for the caterpillar but is great for tomato farmers as these hornworms can decimate tomato crops. | ![]() |
